I am a distributor for Total Life Changes. We have some excellent essential oils. Our oils vary in their characteristics. Each person is different in how they may respond to using them.
How do I use TLC Essential Oils?
Our Essential Oils may be used in three different ways. They may be applied to the skin topically, added to a dispersant and added to a bath or inhaled. There are many different kinds of application methods. For example, you can apply essential oils topically using compresses, sprays, baths, or massaging them into the skin.
Wild Lavender Essential Oil
The world’s best-selling oil
Wild Lavender Essential Oil is used in folk traditions throughout the world. This oil produces a calming sensation and may lessen the feelings of agitation and anger.
By inhalation, TLC Lavender Essential Oil is commonly used for the treatment of restlessness, insomnia, nervousness, and depression. It is also used for a variety of digestive complaints including abdominal swelling from gas in the intestinal or peritoneal cavity, loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea, intestinal gas (flatulence), and upset stomach.
Some people use lavender for painful conditions including toothaches, sprains, nerve pain, migraine headaches, sores, and joint pain. A relaxing bath base can be made by mixing one part baking soda, two parts Epsom salts, and three parts sea salt. Add six drops of TLC 100% pure premium Lavender Essential Oil to about two tablespoons of this mixture and mix it into bath water just before entering to treat circulation disorders and improve mental well-being.
Lavender may also be applied to the skin for hair loss (alopecia areata) and pain, and to repel mosquitoes and other insects.

TLC Essential Oils Storage
Never leave TLC Essential Oils near a heat source as combustion/fire may occur. The safest place to store TLC Essential Oils is in an aromatherapy box or refrigerator. Never leave oils in a place where the sun will shine directly on them. Choose a cool, dark place to keep them safely away from heat and also inquisitive children – safety point number one.
During the summer months, when it is hot, it is a good idea to store your Carrier oils in the fridge as well, since they can be particularly vulnerable. Take TLC Essential Oils and carrier oils out of the fridge 12 hours before you need to use them to allow them to naturally adjust to room temperature. When stored at low temperatures, some carrier oils form fatty particles, which will need to be dissolved again before you can use them. A quick shake of the bottle is all that is needed to ensure that waxy/fatty particles are dissolved back to their normal state.
Basic Skin Test: Place a small amount of carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil, followed by a small amount of the essential oil in the palm of your hand. Use one/two fingers and mix the carrier and the 1-2 drops of an essential oil. Rotate clockwise to warm the oils. Now apply the oil on the inside of the elbow (underside of the forearm), or wrist. After approximately 1 hour, check the area(s) for any type of reaction. Most users will not react to 100% pure premium essential oils and they can be safely applied for a direct powerful effect. They can be effectively used undiluted on burns, insect bites, pimples, and other skin eruptions too. Essential oils are very powerful and are very effective, even when they are applied with a carrier. Carriers are often used during massage therapy to help lubricate larger areas.
*Not recommended for use with Babies/Children Under 10 and people with identified sensitive skin.
Use Care with Eyes, Ears, etc.: Never apply oils directly to the eyes or ear canal. After application, be attentive to things like rubbing the eyes, areas around the eyes, eyelids, handling contact lenses, or touching the interior of one’s nose. The skin is most sensitive and prone to irritation around the genitals and mucous membranes.
Use care when applying essential oils to Children Over the Age of 10: After application, the child should be supervised and areas where oils were applied should be clothed until the oils have been sufficiently absorbed to protect from cross contamination.
Pregnancy: Pregnant women are advised to consult a physician or licensed aromatherapist prior to using essential oils. If there are specific oils that pregnant women should be concerned about, it will be noted on the essential oil bottle.
Critical Health Conditions: Persons with asthma, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or other critical health conditions can benefit from essential oils, but should consult a healthcare or aromatherapy professional when addressing these serious conditions.
A Little Goes a Long Way: There is a reason for the drip hole in top of the essential oil bottles. All TLC Essential Oils are 100% pure premium concentrates. 100% pure premium essential oils are potent and smaller amounts are required.
