Running a home base network marketing business can be very rewarding. Also, it can be very challenging and hard work. Owning a network marketing home base business can bring you financially freedom, wealth, happiness and more time to spend with the family. However, most people that start these types of home base businesses don’t get the opportunity to see the true benefits of being in a network marketing business.
First, their expectations of the business was wrong, they don’t want to put in the work, and they don’t have the write leadership and training. This is why 98 percent of the people that open up a home base network marketing business fail.
In order for any business to be successful, you have to work very hard at it. Don’t listen when your upline say to you that the products sell itself. Products don’t sell themselves. If you want people to buy your product or service, you have to understand how to build relationships with people and how to market your products. Also, you got to understand that people don’t like to be sold to. You have to be magnetic. You become magnetic by helping people solve problems and making changes in their lives.
Once you start caring more about people than selling a product, then you will see your business grow. People are really buying you. They are not buying the product or even your company name. They do business with you because they like, trust and respect you.
Next, the traditional way of marketing your products in the network marketing industry does not work anymore. The first thing your upline tell you to do is create a list of people that you know or some call it your sphere of influence. This is called your warm market. Then they tell you to go sell your products to your warm market like family, friend and co-workers.
The problem is many of these individual are not interesting in running a business or your products. Next, they tell you to do do cold calling, pass out flyers, business cards and chase people around the malls. These things have some benefits but they are not very effective.
You have to figure out how to get your products in front of people that want them. There are millions of people that want to start their own business and want your products but you have to find them. The way you find these people is to start advertising your business on the internet. There are millions of people looking for what you have on the internet. You have to find you a mentor, leader or coach to teach and train you how to market on the internet.
You need someone to show you how to use the search engines to market your products. You need to find someone to show you how to use social media like Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest and Stumble Upon to get your products in front of a target audience. Also, you can learn how to use Pay Per Click such as Google Adwords, Bing and Yahoo to market your products. You just have to learn how to put your products and business in front of people that are interested in what you have.
Also, understand that when you market on the internet it takes time to build up authority and get your business recognized so be patient. However, it will help your business grow tremendously in the long run. Building a business is not a sprint its a marathon. You move at a consistent pace.
If you don’t get the proper education and training on how to use the internet to promote your network marketing business, you probably want survive and you will quit. If you have a product that you like, it adds value to people lives and the network marketing company has a strong foundation, you will make money just be patience. Invest in your training and personal development. Learn how to market your products online. Work on your business every day. You have to be consistent. Building a business takes time. If you don’t quit you will be the winner.
