One of the most important skills you need to learn in Network Marketing is prospecting. A lot of business owners make mistakes when it comes to prospecting. We should always be working to improve our recruiting and prospecting skills. One thing I don’t do anymore is bother my family and friends or burn out my warm market.
One of my favorite places to prospect is social media. I get a lot of my prospects from Facebook. I try to recruit people that are already in network marketing or have been in Network Marketing. They are easier to work with, and it helps me build by team faster. I build a rapport with them by commenting on their post and communicating with them before I invite them to my business opportunity.
Also, I have a list. Therefore, I do a lot of email marketing. I invite individuals on my email list along with their friends to webinars and 3 way calls.
One thing that has helped me a lot is not just focusing on selling my products or business opportunity. I listen to prospects more than I talk. I try to see what their problems are so that I can solve them. I listen for what they want and need. I don’t go after a sell or recruit without developing a rapport with my prospects. I qualify them before I introduce them to my business opportunity. These are just some of the things I do that has improved my prospecting skills.
