Posture is very important when it comes to Network Marketing. When you are out prospecting and recruiting, you don’t want to seem disparate. Most new business owners in Network Marketing are so excited to the point that they don’t think about good posture.
The biggest mistake for non-postured network marketers is they are addicted to the outcome. They are addicted to at least attempting to close every person they ever talk to about their opportunity. The best of the best only recruit 3 out of 10 people but I can assure you, IF you are someone that closes 3 out of 10, you don’t beat yourself up over the 7 that said no.
Tips On How To Have Good Network Marketing Posture
1– You Don’t Need Them
What does it mean to have posture? My favorite definition of posture is,“You don’t need them; they need you!”You have the best business and top quality products that can change someone’s life. Your prospects need you, but you don’t need them! Why? Because you have billions of people to talk to. You don’t need your prospect to join because you’ll never run out of prospects in this world. This simpleshift in mindsetwill totally change you from being needy and desperate to someone who is confident and not afraid of rejection.
2 – Don’t Talk Too Much
When you talk too much, you sound needy and nagging. Instead, learn to listen more and use tools to do the presentation. The more you talk, the needier and more desperate you sound. When you speak less, this leads to the last way to get prospects to pay attention to you.
3 – Always Be In a Hurry
Desperate distributors make themselves available to present any minute at any notice. I’ve seen some distributors run to their car so they can immediately present to a cold market stranger they just met in the grocery line. This is not good posture. Think about it, What successful person do you know that has the time to spend all day talking to someone? Successful people are in a hurry because they’re always busy doing the things that make them successful.
When you make yourself available anytime or spend endless hours talking to prospects or downlines, you’re basically sending the signal that you have nothing else to do.
